The precise location is reported to be Duncan and I-90 near Trout Park and the Voyageur Landing Forest Preserve [

Fire departments from De Kalb, East Dundee, Pingree Grove, Huntley, Rutland-Dundee, South Elgin, and Streamwood assisted Elgin Fire Department.
The Hoffman Estates Zodiac Swift Water Rescue boat was used in this rescue. A tow truck may be pulling the car out of the water at about 11:00 a.m.
