Arlington Heights Fire Department has sent a fire engine and two
ambulances to a house fire at 1203 Roberts for a Mount Prospect Fire
Department box alarm.. The house fire was in the basement and through
the roof and was reported about 6:30 pm Friday. Fire departments from
Des Plaines, Elk Grove, Elk Grove Township, Niles, Prospect Heights, and
Rosemont assisted Mount Prospect. A woman was killed in this fire when
she re-entered the house after first escaping the fire.
